Atelier Sa Nou Vize works alongside children, young people and families to create lasting opportunities through education, training, social support and community development.
What We Do
Our programmes follow a child from the crèche through school and into the years when training and talent decide what comes next, and support the family around that child at the same time.
Free daycare from three months, with three meals a day.
After-school tutoring, Grade 1 to Grade 13, five afternoons a week.
Dance, choir, football and basketball, every Saturday morning.
Counselling, referral and help with paperwork, six days a week.
Views Records, a recording studio putting a sound engineer within reach of local artists.
A free pre-primary school opening in January 2027.
Our Programmes
Each programme answers a point where children from poor households are most likely to fall out of education: the years before school, the first school years, the homework no one at home can help with, and the talent that goes nowhere for want of a coach.

The centre where families find support and the community finds a place of its own.
View detailsOur Approach
We work in one place, with the same families, over years rather than project cycles. That is what allows a child who entered the crèche to still be known by name in the after-school programme a decade later.
Nothing we run charges the families who need it. Cost is the barrier we exist to remove.
Three centres across Rose Belle and Grand Bois, working with the same community since 2009.
Crèche, pre-primary, after-school support and the Academy connect, so that no child has to start again from nothing.
Childcare that lets a mother work, support that reaches the family, because a child’s schooling rarely fails for reasons confined to the child.

Owen inn rant la kresh laz 1 an a 3 zan. Linn bien develope koT koze, marse, aprann kitsoz, disiplinn, kourtwazi a traver bann aktivite ki zot ti fer avek li. O nivo personnel, sa inn ed mwa parski, monn kapav al travay. Ek o nivo finansier, mo pa ti ena finans pou kapav pay enn gardri, isi mo pa ti bizin pay gardri.
Owen was at the crèche from one year old to three. He came on a great deal in speaking, walking, learning, discipline and courtesy, through the activities they did with him. For me it meant I could go out to work, and I had no means to pay for childcare; here I did not have to pay.

Li ti enn zanfan reserve, tre atase avek mwa, mem lezot mamb de la fami li pa ti fasil pou li reste, apre monn trouver linn vinn plis indepandan. O depar li ti inpe difisil, parski li pa ti abitie avek bann inkoni, me avek letan linn sange e zordi linn vinn inpe otonom, li plis ouver pou al avek lezot dimounn. Osi linn develop so parol, so mobilite, ekritir e so bann alphabet. Mo trouve la diferans kan mo get bann lezot zanfan mem laz ki li.
She started at two. The distance made it easy, it was close, so I did not have to travel far to leave her and fetch her. It also allowed me to work, which helped the household finances. The change in her was considerable. She was a reserved child, very attached to me, and she would not stay easily even with other members of the family; then I saw her become more independent. At the start it was difficult because she was not used to strangers, but with time she changed, and today she is more autonomous and more open with other people. Her speech, her mobility, her writing and her alphabet have all come on. I see the difference when I look at other children her age.

Linn rant la kresh laz 2 zan. O komansman li ti inpe difisil pou li adapte me linn adapte avek letan parski bann miss-la ti bien akeyan e genti avek li. Linn potty train, pou mwa enn gran zafer sa akoz nivo finans li pa ti fasil aster koush. Kan Alvin inn gagne 3 zan, Elion inn rant la kresh. Li ti pe retourn lakaz ti lizie bien rouz, nou gagn sagrin kan nou get li me tre vit linn adapte; aster kan vinn sers li, si li pe fer so bann aktivite dans la kresh li pa anvi retourne lakaz. Meme dan week-end li lager so sak pou al la kresh. Monn fek vinn rest isi pou gagn 2 zan, mo pena fami isi ki kapav get mo zanfan e pou mwa sa li ti enn gran fasilite. Mo bien satisfe par tou bann Miss et bann staff. Zame mo zanfan inn rant lakaz, koush sal, swa linz sal, pena repros.
He started at two. At first it was hard for him to settle, but he adapted in time because the staff were welcoming and kind with him. He was potty-trained there, which was a big thing for me, because nappies were not easy on our finances. When Alvin turned three, Elion started. He used to come home with his eyes red and it hurt to see, but he settled quickly; now when we come for him, if he is in the middle of an activity he does not want to go home. Even at the weekend he fights for his bag to go to the crèche. I have only lived here two years and I have no family nearby who can look after my children, so this has been a great help. I am very satisfied with all the staff. My children have never come home in a dirty nappy or dirty clothes. There is nothing to reproach.

Mo zanfan inn fer 1 an dan la kresh, pou so 2 a 3 zan li ti laba. Deewayne inn apran bokou kitsoz laba. Samem ki lerla nou zanfan bien enkadre, bien develope.
My son spent a year at the crèche, from two to three. Deewayne learned a great deal there, and thanks to that childcare he developed well. There is nothing to reproach on hygiene; he comes home clean and smelling fresh. What I appreciated is that once the crèche has its rate for a child, it stops there, it does not ask for more. That is why our children are well looked after and develop well.
